Module 3 – Building a gender sensitive university culture

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this module is to promote critical reflection on gender roles and stereotypes as well as the importance of university leadership in the fight against gender-based violence and LGTBIphobia.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Understand and reflect on the key concepts related to the gender perspective.
2. Identify and analyse the power structures and dynamics in the educational environment that perpetuate gender inequalities.
3. Develop practical tools for the creation of an inclusive, equitable and gender-violence-free environment in the educational setting.
4. Understand the importance of university activism with a gender perspective.
